All the x25 conversions have used old 7.62x39 barrels with no problems at all. I'd just get one converted from 1biggun and go for it.

I HAVE REMOVABLE PILOTS SO i CAN DO BOTH BORES. IF THE BULLETS ARE 309 EITHER WILL WORK OK. I AM ENQUIRING INTO GETTING SOME us MADE BARRELS THAT ARE PROFILED AL READY BUT UNCHAMBERED IN A 308 BORE AND THEN A CAN CHAMBER THEM IN X25, X39, 300 SAVAGE, 308, ETC AS I PLEASE AND DONT HAVE TO MAKE THE WHOLE THING FROM SCRATCH IF IT HAPPENS iLL BE SELLING SOME. THINK SOME SERIOUS ACCURACY GAINS COULD BE MADE WITH THE US BARRELS IN .311 IF THEY HAD A TIGHTER CHAMBER. i D LOVE TO SEE THEM OFFERED PROFILED BUT UNCHAMBERED.
