    if anyone gets in a bind, I have sten II kits stashed away..I think they had new barrels ..but really nice ...not posting for sale but just offering if someone needs help.... merry christmas..( sorry ) happy holidays...

    How many kits do you have stashed, I was thinking about building a sten semi in 762X25.. as all it would require is a barrel and a modified mag.. the MK 2 are the best for converting calibers as the MK3 barrel is non removable.. B2B

    Hello b2b,
    If you weld that MK-3 front barrel bushing in place, bore and thread it.... A screw-in insert/adapter will allow barrel change in those MK-3 kits.

    The MK-2 kits have gotten scarce and spendy.

    yeah funny but the MK-2 were the most common for a long while. They are expensive now but I think they are a lot better to make a conversion from as the hand guard just screws off.. and the barrel is designed to be removed.. I guess you could make the MKs3 removable but that is a lot of machine work and they don't look as good to me. B2B
