    Default Sten MK 5

I have noticed the MK5 kits seem to be few and far between. What is a fair price for a MK 5 kit? and is there a semi kit for the V? I am assuming that it is cole to the MK2?

They are few and far between....so as to how much is fair....it's a sellers market.
Here is a link for semi conversion.

Thanks. I have a MK5 and a MK3 I picked up years ago, and was debating building or selling.

I spent 4 hours looking for these. I thought my wife threw them out. I even found a brand new ejector and barrel bushing in the box with the MK5.

    Nice kits!
Glad to hear your wife didn't throw them out.
Lots of info around on modin to semi.
    Either striker or hammer fired.

The best price for a MkV kit that I have seen recently was $350. That is a steal. Attached, hopefully, is my MkV SBR. Good luck with your builds if you keep them.

Wow that looks good. What kind of trigger setup you got? Hammer fired or striker fired? Would you know what kind of wood the stock has? Thanks for the picture

I used a striker. I don't really care for the hammer fired systems.

The wood is all original so I really can't tell you what it is. I only wiped down the butstock with acetone to get the cosmo off but I had to use some steel wool on the PG. It was pretty beat up. The butstock has an original number in white paint that is still on the other side.

You wouldn't happen to be on the FAL Files would you? The handle sounds familiar.
