Building Your Bugout Bag: The Complete Infographic Checklist

Looking for a bug out bag checklist to make sure your bug out bag isn’t lacking anything critical? Instead of another long written post about bug out bags, we thought we’d put one out there in pictorial form.

Hope this gives you a few ideas on items you haven’t checked off your bug out bag checklist quite yet. We know one bug out bag isn’t right for every occasion, but this is how we are packing our bags for a TEOTWAWKI scenario.

And please, let us know if you think we missed anything, or if you’ve discovered a better solution then we have for some of the challenges to bugging out. New products are always hitting the market, and we’d like this page to be a resource for people that stays current.

Amazing to think that all that stuff actually fits inside a "Survival Bracelet"!

The folding camp chairs should go in first since they are a little bulky.

Black blade has been a good influence on me

so my wife and I have half ass bug-out bags (BOB)
After sandy one of our neighbors up north was describing the ocean water rolling up the street, well its was a 5' high wave, he said " I grabbed the wife and our bug-out bags and the wave pushed the truck up the street but we made it. the key was he had a bug out bag

I have made a effort to build up two such bags for my wife and I, using the info above and what surplus camping gear and extra clothing were each have
I have a ACU RFI deployment pack with all the goodies and I got her a Marine woodland ILBE both are new and under $50 each these can be found at all the internet surplus stores or local army / navy stores or e-bay, next hurddle is hydration and purification, yep I have the tablets but i mean a good katadyn unit.
Sprat and sprat1 are one and the same.

Even an "Altoids survival tin" in your pocket is better than the "bug-out motorhome" you can't get to...
