Author Bracken offers another free 'high-octane' e-book
Following up on last month’s special offer when readers were invited to download free Kindle copies of his “Enemies Foreign and Domestic” trilogy, author Matthew Bracken today made his “Bracken Anthology” book available at no charge through November 6.
“My main goal with this is to get the 'Enemies Trilogy' downloaded by folks who have never heard of them,” Bracken had earlier advised friends and readers on his Facebook page announcing last month’s special promotion, and his latest offer is no exception.
“The Bracken Anthology” contains “recent essays, commentaries and short fiction from … 2010 to 2013,” including his latest short work, “Alas, Brave New Babylon,” the Amazon book description explains for what it terms “high-octane distillate.”
That’s an apt description for work by a writer who is known and appreciated for his “bleeding-edge dystopian thrillers.”
Readers can get their free Kindle download of “The Bracken Anthology” by clicking here. For those who don’t have a Kindle, Amazon provides free reading apps for PC, Mac and devices.
Those who take advantage of this offer are reminded that even though the book is free, it’s important for those receiving a gift to acknowledge it. The best way to express gratitude in this case (aside from purchasing one or more of Bracken’s books), is to share this offer with others, and to help him attain his goal for doing this in the first place: To get his work in front of people who would otherwise never hear of it.
Black Blade: Yeah, I downloaded this one too.
