    Default PKM Belt Loader?

I got the "no-frills" Romy PKM kit that didn't have any of those cool little gizmos that the Hungarian kits had. Therefore, I'm curious about the belt loading gizmo that supposedly the Hungarian kits had...

I'd like to get one if possible, or have a close-up pic to see if perhaps I could fab one in the shop.

Is it something like the MG42 "meat grinder" belt loader? Or is it something less complicated? Every one of the kit phots I've seen doesn't have anything that looks like a loader.

Check this... really over-priced on his stuff, but rare stuff nonetheless:

Is this just a "finger thimble" that lets you force the bullet into the belt?

I'm inclined to say that I'll build me one of those lever-action belt loaders, the kind that the 1919 folks use where you lay out the bullets and the belt in the tray & push the lever...

I stand corrected. The Maxim/PK belts are a breeze to load and I don't see the need to get any sort of loader for them.

I just loaded 200 rounds by hand in no time. Well, in a little bit of time It wasn't the wrestle-mania event that I thought it would be. There were some links that were tighter than others, but it really wasn't all that difficult.
