    Default MG 42 update

Here she is after about 4000 rnds . I built it in MG3 configuration and I'm very glad I did . Even with the price of stockpiling ammo , cleaning and controllability make it worth the money for the ammo . That's a buddys Barrett , stuck it in there for size comparison . And yes , that Barret is a bad sonuvabyatch

I have a friend here localy that has a 50bmg bolt action pistol with a 10" bbl, thats from breach face to end of bbl, kinda breaths for you when you shoot it, not physicaly possible to hold your breath when you shoot it. I will ask if he minds if I post a picture

Didnt realize the Barret had gone up so much in price, passed one up in 91 for $3695 (broke), bought mine in 94 after the shot show for $4995, been a very good gun overall, disconector broke at around 400rds (flawed investment casting), barret promptly replaced, never had any other problems

That MG42 sure does look purty. Another nice one, Will.

Will -- is the 50 bigger than the '42? I can't tell from the photos and the '42 is bigger than anything I'd want to carry around.

How's the '42 for reliability? How often do you get a holler from it jamming?
