    Default Russian 1910 Maxim

So I have my 1910 kit that I've had for a while now. I think I should begin getting other parts for it:

Who makes the 80% side plates?
What size is the rivets for this?

Anyone have semi plans for modifying the internals?

The last I've heard the ATF hasn't approved a semi design yet.

I think my kit will be a Post-Sample long before it would be a semi.

I always wanted a Maxim 1910 with snow cap, wheeled mount and shield, but I missed the good Weaponeer buys. If anyone wants to trade one for a MG42 kit with all the conversion parts (including US made furniture), let me know.

I might would take you up on the offer, but fortunately I got one of the 42 kits as well. I got in on the last weaponeer group buy for the maxim. Damn glad I did too. I decided if I was going to get it I might as well get the mount, shield, etc. Its currently sitting in a box waiting on the approval so I can get started. Good luck in your quest. Does ima still sell these kits? If so, you might try and get just the kit, and try to find the mount and shield later when someone is hard up for cash.

I'm seriously considering getting one of these kits. Once a semi design is approved, do you think it will be any harder to build than a 1919? I'm assuming the semi plans will be a variation of the 1919 thick semi sideplate.

it will be an expensive build some what along the lines of the vickers. the internals will need a fairly extensive amount of modification and the parts are hard as a rock and difficult to machine.
