    Default MG 42 semi build

I finally got my MG 42 parkerized and finished. This has been a long project. the gun has been working for several months, but in a rough state. I finally got the time to parkerize it and fine tune it. I can't wait to take it out and shoot it again. The first photo is what it looked like at the beginning. the welds turned out pretty good, even the ratchet plate where it was reconstructed look like it has never been torched.

Many thanks to my bud, and pirate trainee, the wizard of wood, JJGlith for the excellent refinishing job on the stock!!
