    Default 1919 project finished

I got my 1919 parkerized this week. I have a set of spade grips on order for it, but it is going to be a while before they are ready. It is currently set up for 8mm as there is a lot of cheap ammo, and it has a lot more punch than .308. It is mounted on a tripod that I made for my .50 bmg rifle and I plan on getting an M2 tripod for it soon. It is a real nice shooter and was a fun build.

Looks good. I finished mine recently as well. Still need to parkerize it once I get around to test firing. Where'd you get your 8mm barrel? I'd like to get the parts to convert mine as well so I can save my 308 ammo for my other rifles.

I got the 8mm bbl from the ammunition store, I got a 30 06 booster from angola armory and made the ctg stop from a .308 one although 8mm stops are available at .50bmg site.

I got a few thousand rounds of 80's yugo in 1919 links from sportsmans guide a while back. I just linked up some romanian 8mm to try. if you need some 8mm links let me know.
