today was day two of JJ's and I doing out 1919 builds. we got started around 10 am and by 4 pm finished both guns. Mine is currently in .308, and JJ's is 8mm. The only thing left to do is get a few rear sight parts that looked to crappy to use or were missing.
Both guns were done with a black park with pirates perfected parkerizing process. JJ earnned his jolly roger toady, his gun came out as good as mine! :thumbup1:
Thank You Pirate...Now I got a cool belt-feeder.....
I'm learning from a Master. The man is unbelievable in his TIG welding, building skills and fabrication of tools and parts. I may have gone up a notch in Jolly Rodger status but I will never come up with the stuff this guy can do off the top of his head. OK I can parkerize now but only learning from one of the best...
