    Default My 1919a4 is done..

Well the 1919 was built in Nov. at "Pirates Palace of Parkerization" (Thanks Stan, for all your knowledge and help)
I wanted to build a transit case before I posted pictures....

The 1919 is a OOW $299. kit, Halo registered RSP & rivets, Lonnie did the machining, TNW spade grips. Its a 8mm conversion. Wood grips and carry handle refinishing & black parkerizing by me. The tripod is Pirates Custom Bench Pod

    Hope you guys like it.....

Here?s the transit case, I finished it last week....
It?s made of cedar, maple stain for the interior, stencils from Military stencils, the OD paint is a custom code I picked up on the internet.

x-man:, I haven't shot it yet ...but I got lots of ammo linked up.

dutigaf: The box weighs 18lbs. with the gun in it it about 53lbs. I have brass handles on the side and I can still lift it. I used 1x6 boards for most of it. The cover is hardwood door skin.

jj, the gun and the box do look great. Nice work! I too am looking forward to knowing how it shoots. Please take pics of it in use if possible. One thing, if you don't mind, what was the total build cost, the final number? Thanks.

After all the time I spent building that case I think I'll be wraping the next one up in an old blanket (like you do... ....)
I'll be building your box when IMA drops the price for the Vickers kits....
