Thanks Coils! $999.87. The pic shows tripod, but they sure don't give any details.
Don't know if I can swing it before the 31st.

That is a good deal. I can almost guarantee that they will be the "used" Romy kits, and the tripods are probably Romy as well. They are fine - my Romy kit has a worn finish, yes, but all the parts are good and don't show signs of abuse like peened edges or anything.

Hey guys just bought a PKM kit, Romanian from a guy on one of the forums. Should get it Friday. Cost me $1200 and it comes with the tripod too. I wasn't about to pay $2500 for a hungarian even if they are worth it. Oh and Century's price is now $2000 for a Romy kit. Any news of Vltor or anyone developing semi parts? Where can I get the receiver from, I don't know if Vltor will sell to FFL's? Now I just need belts, cans, and a spare barrel and small parts. Any ideas?

If anyone is looking for Romanian PKM kits I may be able to get a group deal on some - I would need at least 3, preferably 5, but the price would be $1200 complete w/tripod - around $400 less than ammunitionstore and everywhere else. PM me if you are seriously interested.

Can't beat the Prexis 80%!!! And that's WITH the semi block installed. Very cool.

Unless they have been improved, I would not recommend the Prexis 80%. I got an early one and it was twisted, as I straightened it, all the spot welds for the semi block plate broke and the plate came out. Cocking handle slot was not correct, an I believe the shell is about 3/16" too short.

I started doing drawings for laser cut parts, if there is enough interest I will continue with the project. I have a voltor receiver and started figuring out the build. as soon as I finish my vickers and fn30 I will attack that one full force.
