    How close are these to the MAXIM, it looks simular?

    They look a little alike but they are a lot different internally.

    got a little further on the vickers today. I finished drilling the right plate and fitted up the front end. it is starting to look like a gun!!

    Did you solder that receiver or use something different? I've heard that red silicone works pretty good, but I haven't started mine yet.

    Very pretty, by the way....

    But you're not pullng the W/J to rivet............................

    Sure is a pretty coat of paint on that water jacket. Hope it doesn't get messed up by heating the solder.

    BTW - Looking real good

    Edit;
    Do you have a hole in the upper rear of the trunnion for a rivet ?? Figure you just haven't drilled it yet

    I didn't drill that one yet. I missed it when I had it apart. as far as pulling the water jacket, the paint loks to good!
