    Default Monster build!!

I had a build party today with a couple of friends. We worked on our .50 BMG builds. These things are massive!

They are pretty time consuming to build. since they are so big it takes a lot of time to prep the parts and there are a lot of holes to spot, drill and countersink.
We are doing the most of the rivets by hand, heating and beating, and there are about 38, plus another 16 to be done in the press.

We have about 2 more days work to finish them up., can't wait to range test them!!

Uh.....it looks like one has the right side plate on the left side.

Wish I could afford to do what y'all are doing. Of course, they are a bitch to haul around. Next thing you need is a surplus armored vehicle to mount it on.

These kits came from Gryphos http://gryphos.com/fiftyparts/

They are M3 hp kits and were $4,750.00. they came with a new stellite lined hb, new bbl support, m2 spades , retracting slide assy, and the rest of the parts were in like new to VG condition. the internals were machined for the kmp trigger and sear.
The build with Halo 100% sideplate and kmp trigger and sear will end up at $5,350.00 not bad considering a built gun runs around $7,500.00

That is the next problem Winn, I kick myself for not getting a few hundred rounds of ammo when it was about $1.25 a round, now it runs $3.50 up.

This won't be someting I will be shooting a lot. I mostly built it because I always wanted one and I know they will be the first thing to get banned after the elections. I figured it will be a good investment.
