    Default RPD lower mod

Wondering if anyone has the specs for the lower modifications. What I am looking for are the hole sizes that need to be drilled for the semi FCG. I have some WLA diagrams but they don't include hole sizes. Thanks for any help.

    I'm working on mine too.

There's very little good data on this that's out in the open. In addition to the lower mods, you will need to do some trigger and safety mods.

I shipped mine to WLA, they did the mods but I can't get a good idea of the final assembly. I'm getting the impression that there's a mod needed to the 'drop in' parts also a mod to the safety.

At this point I'm at a standstill.

Keep in mind there's the Vector method and the WLA method. They're not interchangeable (IIRC).

there are no "drop in " rpd semi parts, both the lower and bolt carrier need several machining operations to work. This varies to the type of receiver and semi parts being used.

Okay, I'm using a DSA receiver and WLA semi parts. All the machining will be done professionally IF I can tell him ALL the specs. For the life of me I cannot find any complete diagrams. The WLA diagrams I have now are miss labeled and missing information. The last piece I need are the demensions of the 3 holes that need to be drilled into the lower receiver for the FCG to fit. Pirate, I have been on your website and looked at the RPD build tutorial, but that too is unfinished, but very helpful in the parts that are described and shown. For that I thank you.

Can't you just measure the pins to get the sizes needed?

Yes, that's what I'll probably end up doing, but it would be nice to have some complete info out there for people to see/use.

Lol. I HAVE the drawings, but the drawings are not complete in the sense that they do not include hole sizes.

I am with Hairy toe on this.

Yes I have drawings that, well basically SUCK. Depths of holes not listed, width of rail listed but not weather you trim the top bottom or both etc. VERY disappointed with the quality and information content.
