Dan's Sporting has Imbel $149 shipped back in stock and shipping again. Just received mine. Nice shinning bore.

Screw Centerfire, You never know what you are going to get.
They used to be a great supplier, back before the Yugo debacle.

Akron Armory has beautiful FAL kits for $149 shipped.
I just received one, and it's sweet.

PS Akron is also a site sponsor, why not send your money to those who help support our little corner of the net.

    AKRON ARMORY's ... IMBEL FAL KITS...$149 SHIPPED!

I would love to have one of these....where can I get a reciever for one, and how much do they cost? Also, what kind of tooling do you need to put one together? I have a basic set of AK tools, and a good set of hand tools.

Receivers are a little hard to come by right now.
I just bought an Imbel receiver off gunbroker.

The two biggest things you'll need are a barrel vise and receiver wrench.
A recoil spring/buttstock tool and a gas tube wrench are nice to have, but not mandatory.

    Dan's Kit

well I waited for the new shipment, Finally last thursday it arrived. I unwrapped the lower, it was in nice shape. the upper was a different story, hardly any finish, well used, bore seems nice. as if this rifle was left exposed in the jungle for some time. the only serial number comes from the bayonet
but for $149 they would made a nice rebuild one day, don't think I will order another one

I just received one of Dan's Kits. Of the three I have ordered (from other vendors), this is the best.

To bad Akron does not have any inventory, it must hurt.
