Default A DAY IN THE PARK (tank)

I finally got around to parking my FAL parts.

Man, these suckers have a ton of parts compared to the AKs, it took me all day.
For each part I had to clean, blast, degrease, rinse, park, rinse again, apply neutralizer then dry.

These are just the parts that are visible when finished, none of the innards.

I scored an Imbel GL off gunbroker.

I finished the rifle yesterday, I just need to snap some pics.
This was my first FAL build, it was a fun learning experience.

Yes, I used the Allegheny arsenal kits I bought through weaponeer.
You can also buy them direct through the mg42 site.

I thought I just got lucky when my m1919 came out so nice, but all this stuff looks real good too.
It's all in the prep, you do that right, the rest seems pretty fool proof.
I'm looking forward to taking this FAL for a test drive this weekend.

I've got the same stuff and agree -- prep right, look good.

I love how it holds oil!!
