That is nasty!
I have wanted a FAL pistol to go with all my FAL rifles. I had a bunch of parts left over form some builds and got an !!" bbl and handguards from DSA for cheap at knob creek several months ago. I went to my ffl friday to pick up a gun and he had sme century receivers for $260.00. so I got one in spite of the fact I think they are junk. I will have this thing finished for less than $400.00
I slapped it together this morning, I just need to press in the locking shoulder and make a cover block for the rear of the lower. when I havew some spare time I will clean up the receiver and smooth out the rough edges and refinish the whole thing. But for now it is one less box of parts in the closet.
That is nasty!
I've never seen one of those before. Now I want one! Glad I did not sell the FAL kits. I like the carry handle better on your pistol than I do rifles.
Impressive work once again!

I seldom talk to liberals.............................. But when I do, I order fries............
Is the recoil system set up like the paratrooper type folding stocks?
Looks good! The new Century FAL receiver is suposed to be a completely redone version. How did it go together. Was there any problems with the barrel not timing to 12 o'clock when tightened.

All you need now is a custom holster and you good to go!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really think that you should make another one. One just looks to lonely!!!!!! then you can have one for each hand and your ready for the OK corrall!!!!!!!!!!! cool build!!!

Building or Bitching? which are you here to do?

REAL nice! I've been wanting to do a FAL pistol and CETME pistol for a while, now the itch is back. Thanks Pirate
IF YOU RUN, YOU'LL ONLY DIE TIRED
For the recoil spring you use a para setup, the top cover holds the spring and the bolt carrier has a hole in it for the spring. a carrier, spring and cover will run about $150.00 from DSA.
as far as the receiver goes it actually indexed easily only had to take off a couple .001"s from the bbl. the rest of the parts fit ok, there are heavy machine marks on the sides, but I plan on smoothing out all the rough edges and refinishing the whole thng as soon as I finish the rear lower cover and get the time.
I can't wait to shoot it and see the flames!!
