i finally got around to ordering the para parts from "gunthings".
these were setting in the safe for over a year or so.
i got the parts today, (FALCON, para cover, springs, carrier with sand cuts.)
now i will need to cut the receiver for the cover nose.
one has an 18" barrel ( has the israel handguards and stg58 type brake) i am going to change the muzzle brake to a vortex type brake later.
the other is a 16-1/2" barrel
( i may have to open the gas vent hole up some, i did on my regular stock 16-1/2" carbine, but i will wait to see how it functions first.)
there are no mags installed in the picture, because they are not finished building yet. (this comment is for the mag police.)
both are built on a SA kit folding stock lowers.
the barrels are both imbel and in excellent condition.
the receivers are century metric (2005 marked).
(I have had very good luck with using century receivers made after 2002. all have worked good so far. )
both of the rifles are 922R compliant.
moses cut and threaded the barrels for me.
i got the pistol grips from wolf-bob several years ago.( hint bob, i need some more of them, about 10 of them)
i had ken kubin ( GMG), barrel the receivers, check head space, check timing, install locking lugs.
tapco gas piston
tapco charging handle ( i think i am going to put the imbel charging handles back on them)
muzzle brakes are u.s. made, i don't remember who made them.
i am not sure i am going to keep the carry handles on them.
i have the carry handle spacers to install if i descide to take them off.
HOW ABOUT SOME OF YOU GUYS SHOWING US YOUR PARA FAL'S AND TELLING ABOUT THEM.
