    Default L1A1, new zeland build

HOW ABOUT SHOWING US YOUR BUILT L1A1 (SLR) AND TELLING ABOUT THEM.

i have a L1A1 i built several years ago. it is all L1A1 upper with metric lower. ( that is what i had at the time i built it).
i have been gatherning up L1A1 lower parts and now have most of the to do the lower build.
i have picked up what i believe to be a nice used wood stock set for the new zeland L1A1 (SLR).
the lower i have is a new never used L1A1.
does anyone here have a good clear picture of the markings on the new zeland lower receiver.
i want to get my lower engraved before i do the new build on it.

note: the metric lower is going on a imbel kit i have started. i will post pictures later in the week on it. it is almost finished.

    thanks
    ron

Over on the FALFiles there is an L1A1 collector from NZ, he has photos posted of every NZ/Aussie L1A1 ever fielded as well as a complete collection of all the accessories. A few hours spent in the gallery over there should give you plenty of examples.

If you post a message over there asking for closeups, I'm sure he could provide them.

i tried three time to ask for someone " anyone" to post some pictures.
i needed a good clear picture of both sides of the lower receiver. it shouldn't be that hard to do.
no pictures just a lot of writing/comments.

oh well! i will look some where else.

    thanks again.

I believe that the NZ L1A1s were simply Aussie L1A1s w/the exception of a few parts. Some of the very early NZ L1A1s did have a few NZ Army markings though. SLR 5000 on the FAL Files made a clone of one recently. Try searching for his post in the photo section. (He has a lot of posts though!)

I got from gunthings, my no go and go gauges( i loaned out my other ones and forgot who i loaned them to, also my locking lug measuring pins, not going to loan them out any more) got my locking lug measuring pins and my fcg set. i think i have enough to finish this build and about 5 or 6 others ( they just need locking lugs measured and installed).
