    Default imbel,bi-pod build

HOW ABOUT SHOWING US YOUR BUILT IMBEL FAL'S AND TELLING ABOUT THEM.

looks like i am building an ARGY,( i thought is was an imbel kit, but it turns out to be an ARGY kit.) bi-pod metric fal.
i bought this kit very early when they first started to import them. i am getting around to finishing the last four fal kits i am going to build.

this one has not been refinished yet. it is an almost new kit. i may just refinish the receiver to get it to match the rest of the rifle and around the barrel where i buggered it up putting the barrel on the receiver ( OH WELL).

i am wishing i had bought more of the first fal imbel import kits.

    U.S.MADE PARTS:
the lower has a falcon stock & butt plate, pistol grip, tapco FCG.
the upper has a rtg58 type muzzle brake, tapco gas piston, century receiver.

i am going to use the imbel charging handle and carry handle.

not all the parts are in the picture.

i hope to finish it this week and i will post a completed picture then.

turns out it was an ARGY kit. here it is. took longer than it usually does. i forgot how much trouble to reinstall bi-pods were.

i will refinish it later or i may just leave it like it is.

i did spray some high heat paint on the receiver to get it to match the rest of the rifle.

i didn't use the rtg58 type muzzle brake, it did not look right on it.

this is an excellent condition imbel kit. it is built on an imbel receiver, it has the 922r compliant parts.
this is the fal i shoot the most. it is accurate for a fal,( even with my old eyes). a very smooth action rifle. never has failed to shoot any round i have put in it.
