    Default Precision AR-15

    Just bout finished assembling new .223 Mk12 Mod1 SPR clone with improved modifications. Just waiting on the gas tube to arrive to be able to hit the range. Should be a good shooter. I put everything I wanted on it.....so far that is. (Might mount my Nightforce NXS2250R1 on the LaRue scope QD so I can use it here and on my FN SPR)

    Default Ultimate AR15 ???

    Got this assembly/build finished. Did final torquing on barrel, installed gas tube, re-bead blasted the barrel to clean up any rub marks, installed front BUIS. Now it's off to the range for this beast. Range report to follow.

    beautifull.... could you briefly write up how much all separate parts cost and where you got them? I am starting an AR build myself.

    I'd suggest you view this thread over at ARF;
    AR15.COM :: Forums :: MK12 mod 0 and mod 1 pic / Discussion thread

    It will show you options shooters came up with and vendors. Would probably help you hone into what you want and where to get it.

    Except for the scope, nice build. Do your SPR right and put a nice optic on it...

    ARMO, if you're planning on building one in the current market, be prepared to spend big bucks. To build a quality SPR isn't cheap to begin with and with the current market, it's even more expensive just to get basic parts (lowers, LPK's, upper receivers, etc...)

    I've only taken it out to 100 yds while breaking in barrel. The SS scope works very well, especially considering the price. Its a good throw down scope and wonderful for short ranges.

    It's printing sub .5 MOA 3 group shots regularily with BH 77g. match ammo. Onward and upward and out to 200yds and beyond. The setup is good. Life is good. Now where is that Nightforce scope I had laying around collecting dust.............
