    There is another thread asking about them. Search for "ARAMID" I think in the subject line.

    Summary so far, 1 person built with one, everyone else says junk. But don't trust my memory.

    Cavalry Arms has the only "plastic" lower which functions in the real world.

    I have one of these given to me for free for testing purposes...it's a POS (Hesse). It's really just some sort plastic and you can damage under decent use. If you're just going to a static range to shoot off say a few hundered rounds per year, it'll probably do fine. It is lightweight however and with a lightweight upper, it would make for a nice lightweight "starter" gun for the kids or wife/gf/domestic partner/whatever-you-have-going-on...I wouldn't pay more than $50 for it though...
