Well I finally got most of my "Honey-do" list done, so now it's time to start on my AR project. Here's a link to what I did so far on the lower. Let me know what you think. Only mistake so far was counterboring the rear takedown pin a bit too deep, but I'll make a shim to cure that....
Holy mackeral! You started with a 0% AR lower? I know there people that can handle work like that but I'm not one of them. Great job so far and I hope to see more.
Got some spare time, so I headed to the shop and finished the machine work on the Lower and everything fits like it should. What I thought I screwed up on (rear takedown pin) ended up perfect. I did make an error in calculating the layout holes for the magazine (partially the fault of the instructions, but ultimately my fault for not paying attention - duhhhh), but I fixed it and all is well.
