So is yankee Hill a good lower? I'm looking at one on gunbroker and was wondering if it is worth the price.

that is a very good deal on those PSA lowers!

$49.99+$7 shipping is the least expensive i have seen yet!

    aero is pretty good too.

PSA has been making a lot of good deals lately. you need to check out their uppers too!

I would recommend the PSA lower. I got one, and it is really nice compared to my bushmaster and spikes.

I hate my spikes lower. The finish on it(machining marks) is horrible. It also doesn't drop magazines.

Sorry to hear that mine is really nice functions well and all the lower parts dropped right in, my only complaint is I did pay $20.00 more than aims price for mine at a show. I agree I would buy the PSA at that price though

spikes is one of the few i haven't haven't built.

personally i haven't found much reason to say one brand of lower is much better than any other.

the best fitting lower unit i have is the TNW billet lower i got from CFS.

the most tough and hard lowers so far has been the LMT/DSA lowers. one small gripe with the DSA lowers though as the pin hole for the bolt hold open was a tad small--LOL!

as far as lowers go it is generally better to go to the lowest priced unit that will do the job and spend the money saved on a better BCG or barrel IMHO.

i don't think there is anything wrong with a YHM made lower though. some people will spend $150 for a S&W just because it says S&W on the side. and if that is what they want --then it is worth a few extra $.

i keep saying i am going to buy an armalite lower just because i like their logo. but all these $50-$60 DS A blems and PSA lowers just keep getting in the way!-LOL

$50 for the lower, $50 for the stock and $50 for the LPK that is about $150 for a complete lower set up.

you can find assembled lowers for around $200 pretty much everywhere.

$275 is about what they were going for back in the panic of 08---
