    Default 45 AR-15 on a Stock upper......

Since Promag has resumed production of .45 ACP Uzi mags I thought I'd play with one as a lower cost alternative of feeding a .45 AR gas upper...........so got a couple and whippped up a mag well adaptor.....

and here is a test run with my DI Upper......1st mag is Promag, second is IMI.....magwell adaptor is my design....as is the upper

And according to my sources the 20 round mags should be available in a couple of months.....

I actually have a set of Thompson wood that I'm gonna make an AR in .45 with a Thompson grip, forearm, AND buttstock.....if and when I get half caught up on customer builds.....

My Dad carried a Thompson during WWII, which was the impetus in my wanting an AR45. Got an Oly and DI version. I'd love to see the Thompson wood on yours when you get caught up.
