    Curtis is all out and I have four polish blanks that need some holes in them

    check out AK-builder. I ordered one yesterday after receiving a email notifying me they were back in stock.
    What I lack in accuracy, I make up for in Volume!!!!

    hey me too!!! I got the notice yesterday and was on it so fast I didn't even ask the wife. So I think it is safe to lock this thread

    I've used that drilling fixture on 6 so far. It does an awesome job.

    Yes they do a great job..Ak builder gets them back in stock about once a week but if you snooze you loose ..

    Could you use a flat with the holes as a pattern to locate or double check location for the spots to drill on the 80%? Would be much less expensive.

    Calipers / Dykem / Scribe & you can do anything.

    Jigs just make things easier I guess ? Rivit heads cover a little sloppyness.

    The fact that 555th has one speaks volumes for me though. Must be good chit.
    I threw all of my kits in the river, so no need for building tools.
