    i have delayed the inevitable for 15 years. i cant postpone this any longer. the missus wants a horse and need to move some clutter to cover the cost of a damn fence. not to mention i lost half of my shop to store supplies for the future beast

    You DO know that horses lose half their value as soon as you drive them off the lot???

    she's been up my ass for years for one. i guess since the oldest is almost out of the house shes feeling some empty nest. hell the horse may eat less than my 17y/o

    depending where your at you can purchases horses for a fraction of what a firearms costs, years ago when I had mine. I got my first from a hack farm( riding stable ) they will usally work a deal with you, they will take payments,, and you put so much time in at the stables usally a day of feeding and being a trail guide riding horses. and there one other thing that goes with horses a bit frekkin vet bill on occassion, not to m,ention they need new shoes every 6-8 weeks depending on how hard thay are on them...Docps you can actually get horses for as low as 100 hundred dollars thru a goverment program but there like the ATF they want to be able to come around when ever they want, and besides they want you to have 5 achers per horse for proper grazing,, that is just the federall mustang program...Doc
