Default ANY opinions on Duracoting your AR's?

OK - so I just built up a couple of new AR's and another one is on the way and I'm considering Duracotes digital desert coating.

    Desert Mirageflage Duracoat

Has anyone tried this on an AR - and what do you think?

I love it. It's easy to use and very durable. Never done a digital but I've done a couple AR's and alot of AK's in solid colors. Lauer will send you a free calalog just for the asking.

I just kryloned mine in a solid color. I know the job will not last as long but I have heard that duracoat is not lasting any longer than a good kylon job, besides the scrapes and wear in the paint after use will give it some character.

I did one in a solid dark powder-gray to match an old A1 Colt upper, still looks great.

I have never done the camo version. There is a phosphate treatment that they sell now...I am told (reliable) that this treatment is great as a starting point. Read up on it...
