    Question Price check please..

    All Colt..
Guy who worked for Colt has 3 of each of these for sale. Has no idea what too ask for them???

    Upper Receiver.
    Bolt Assembly.
    Peep sight.
    Barrel Extension.
    Hammer
    Extractor
Bolt Assemble complete with pin and extractor.
    Front sight.

All parts are phosphate plated to mil. spec. Inside bore of bolt carrier chrome plated to spec..
I have "not" seen these parts, nor do I know the seller. A friend of a friend is wanting to sell them.
Any idea on price would be appreciated. I have been in contact with j4 who has first grabs if he wants anything.

my best guess would be -- being that steve over at ADCO has some used m-16 colt bolt carriers for $100 each. --would be around a C-note for the carrier. now the colt bolt is a bit harder to judge my guess would be it would go for about X2 the price for a normal bolt - its condition if it is used.

barrel extension -- a new market one goes for about $18. i don't know if colt even makes their own?

hammer --if new i would guess about $25 if it is a small pin--large pin some what less.

    front sight--i have no idea--LOL

extractor --market pieces go for about $14 if it is a pure colt part? maybe $30 if new?

colt stripped upper -- it would hinge on if it is marked with colt markings or not.

newer colt uppers i have seen are mostly key-hole marked. these uppers are used by a number of AR builders. my charles daily m4 upper has a keyhole marking much like some of the later colt upper builds.

a colt marked upper would have some collector value above its value as just a builders part-- how much value the colt markings would have i have no clue--
