The rock river 2 stage triggers are nice, or you can try the "15 minute trigger job" 15 Minute Practical Trigger Job for the AR-15
What's a good upgrade for a stock DPS trigger?
i have been getting some very good DPMS triggers in bulk pack and blister pack lately.
if you have a trigger set up with a bit of creep or too many pounds of pressure required to make it break. you might try the 15min job in molemans link.
what i do is match up the trigger parts--this requires some spares to do musical chairs with. sometimes all that is required is a good polish job.
it isn't hard to get a good AR trigger with the stock parts.
I meant to say DPMS. I put a lower together with their parts and it was as good as my Rock River. Have a 20in kit coming from Del-Ton and thought I'd try something different. I'll order some extra springs and a 2-stage and try both. It's too cold here to do much of anything anyway. Thanks
Geissele SSA is by far the best. There are some on Gun broker.
I 2nd that from Lyn-X, anything Geissele makes is awesome, but if you know a dealer, the RRA is on sale for $65. I also did a trigger review a while back for a mag co. and it ended up like this
or if you like single stage like bolt guns, the Timneys are great along w/ Wilson Combat, Jard etc. I like the Modular triggers on varmint guns, but I'll take Bills Geissele's triggers any day over any of them. They are truly a work of art, and break like butter, and lock super fast. In my opinion thats the 1st thing that goes on an AR, esp if it's a DPMS LPK, Ive actually got a cpl factory 2 stg. RRA's that are breaking at 4lbs
