    Default Piston 6.5 AR

Hey guys! I'm pretty new to the forum but I have been thinking about which AR I am gonna get. So far I have decided on the grendel and a piston system as the base.

Do you all know of any good kits out there for this?

Also I have heard that pistons are less accurate than DI. Is this true?

i think there is a little bit of truth to it. but the negative effects of a piston operated AR as far as accuracy is concerned is more than a bit overstated.

the plain truth is most folks don't shoot well enough to notice one way or the other. someone that knows what he is doing with either system is going to be the wining factor there.

i sort of like the system JSE sells as it adds little to no weight to the AR. there are several outfits that sells a $250ish kit--i have been tempted to try one myself.

I've installed a couple of the TNW kits and they seem to do fine. No one has complained about it affecting accuracy..
