Here is an offering of carbine length triangular handguards - PK Firearms | Online Store. As stated in the ad copy, the front handguard cap must be the triangular style, not round, to fit.
Good find! I've been casually looking for some in rifle length and the only place I've seen them was at gun shows, in poor condition and at the cost of $Gold$.
The Military really had a good idea going with those.
Big hands, smaller hands.
I dont know if they planned it.
But you could put your, non shooting hand in a comfortable position, by simply moving it front or back.
