I'm pretty sure that's just for FAL's though, not AR's.

ok got an email form "mike" over at DSA.

so this is the straight scoop from the factory.

DSA does machine 4140 ar-15 barrels from from mossie blanks. the barrels are made by DSA on site from these blanks.

the 4150 and other barrels made for " large orders" are from elsewhere some are machined in DSA's fab, while really large orders come as stripped barrels and are assembled @ DSA.

mike didn't offer where the 4150s 1-7" come from - may be some NDA with whoever is making the 4150s--LOL

personally i don't lose any sleep over DSA's hardware. a $110 complete barrel assembly OTD is a great price. ya can barely get a stripped barrel for that. and that el-cheap-o stripped barrel is more "shady" as DSA has a good rep and ain't going to risk it by shipping trash parts.

if DSA was making trash i'ld know by now. i have been making ar's with their parts for the last few years. GTG in my book.

now 4th you need to send us a dozen or so of those barrels to test out--they might not be up to the current "mall-ninja" standards !!

now they got to have a mall-ninja name or they will sell never to "real" ninjas 4th.

ya know ninjas are allergic to generic barrels--

something real ninja or DOD like will do-- hey i got it --instead of" HK" how does "BK" ???

imagine two mall-ninjas meeting " oh yea -- i got me one of them elite BK barrels and free fries!

BK home of the "wopper AR's!"

got to stick that "ninja price-tag" on them too 4th. if they ain't the most expensive or the ninjas won't even look at them--

DSA for me at least is all ways a bit slow to fill orders and ship. all orders so far have been worth the wait.

My buddy bought that barrel j4... He is 6' 5" and eats nails for breakfast.
He wants too meet this guy called him a "Mall Ninja."
All kidding aside. He was an armorer in the Military.
So he buys the parts and I watch him put it together.
Son of a Gun. No not the great show. His putting it together.
All these years of building a few AKs. Could not believe how easy it is, compared too the AK.. Everything just snaps on. I think?? We will find out when he pulls the trigger.
Now he is on the phone ordering everything, lazer lights, scopes, night vision, can opener, for the damn thing.
Oh God don't come here and tell him that barrel is junk. Please.
    Mall Ninjas rule...
