I have a set in one of my ARs. I felt the same way, never had a problem with regular pins but wanted to try a set out. I can't say anything bad about them other than a little pricey compared to stock pins.

I had one AR with a lot of rounds through it. I noticed the pin holes starting to wear and it concerned me a little even though it still worked fine. Now if I put an expensive match trigger in a gun, I usually install the anti-rotating pins just for cheap insurance. If you invest $1100 in a gun - what's another $25..... I wouldn't bother with them in a plinker.

you can buy over-sized stock pins in several +.005 DSG sells them for $4 a set.
