    Default GLOCK 9mm CARBINES!

This one is interesting. Uses 9mm GLOCK MAGS in a CARBINE.

Nice, but a little pricey at $690 just for the upper, there's another company making a complete carbine that takes Glock mags for that price

Are these those "just right " carbines? If so,,,2-3 of our local shops have had to return every one they've sold so far according to the guys that work there. I guess there junk, the concept is good, but I gather there junk from what I hear. They don't seem to feed or function reliably at all from what I've heard. Kinda to bad if true, they look like a pretty handy little gun just from handling one.

Anybody else know anything about them?

$384 for a complete lower? -- i don't know what to think about it.

i guess i am spoiled by those $120 CMMG 9mm lowers i got from JSE before the panic.

i don't see a huge advantage to going with the glock mags either.

i had some 33 round glock mags years ago -- lets just say i wasn't impressed by them.

the glock mag ar-15 will probably be fine IF you go with standard glock mags. if you just got to have the same mags for you pistol and carbine.

i can't find much wrong with the common c-products asc mags or the uzi mags -- can't say i am just rushing to order the glock mag lower--

maybe they come down some after the panic buying and re-stocking has caught up?

no it is not a JR carbine it is a 9mm ar-15 that takes glock mags instead of colt/uzi -- the glock mags go in at the pistol angle-- instead of straight in like a SMG--

I have one on the way inbound as of today.

    Just in case.

Also ordered several GLOCK 33 rnd mags too.

An RRA UPPER should drop right onto one of these and sail like a ship.

None the less, I will learn something new.

Please update us when you get it or get to use it.
I really like the design, but still feel the lower could be a little cheaper and the upper needs to be a lot lower.

i have seen these around, JSE has even had the stripped lowers.

they were so expensive at that time i didn't even consider building the glock mag lower.

i can't recall what thir price was but i think it was around $300 for a stripped lower with the glock mag well.

i can't recall what it cost to build my 9 mikey upper -- seems like the ramped bolt was $150 and the stainless steel barrel was $109

i got a pro mag mag 9mm mag block for $30ish.

before the panic it didn't cost hardly any more to do a 9 than a regular ar-15.

the cheapo pro mag thingy worked well, but when those $120 blemished CMMG dedicated 9mm lowers came along --they were just too good to pass up--LOL

i keep saying i am going to do a 40 or 357 sig in DI gas--that would be a hoot!

the 9mm carbines are mucho fun. and the 16" barrel is quiet --like shooting a 22!

got to thinking-- you know that is a bad thing! LOL-- but this would be PERFECT for a 357sig/40s&w cause you can run the reliable glock 15+ rounders--

with an a-1 rifle buffer tube/rifle buffer you might have enough weight to run blow back reliable with the more powerful rounds--

or you could just DI gas the thing --but the mag problem with the 40+ types would be solved.
