    Default AR calibers I like

I'd love a Ar upper in 17 remington fireball.. or 17HMR but the fireball would be reloadable.. 204 ruger is another good idea.. B2B

i can think of a bunch of rounds that would be sweet -- including some of the home grown things like that 357 AR mag , 300BO, a DI 357 sig would be sweet along with a 45 super,10mm and 40 S&W--LOL

at one time there was a conversion for 30 carbine--i haven't seen one of those in a while.

most of the common ones i have on the rack --

my next oddball upper is probably going to be whatever ammo turns up somewhere--

Don't worry j427x,,,, I'll be coming to you for advice when I do put together a x39 upper, I hear there temperamental! And you seem to have sorted yours out so it's reliable.

Do you guys think that a .25 acp would be doable?

yeah I agree about 308 in the AR, it's the cats ass.. it's very nice but makes for a heavy rifle.. I have one.. I've got them in a few different calibers.. I'd go for the 300 BO but without a Can I don't see the point.. as for 7.62X25 would be a cool cal but the ammo dried up.. really fast as soon as the PPS43C and the M57 pistols hit the shore and were going for $200 OTD.. that is dirt cheap.. I have uppers in 22,9mm, 223 545 6mm223 308. I had a 7.62X39 years ago but it was an olympic...junk.. it was returned to the factory.. the big bores are interesting.. years ago they had a 50 AE offered.. the 50 BWolf is bad ass.. but mag capacity is limited.. I already have a 45-70 and 444 marlin... LG and a 44 ruger semi.. so I'm OK...in the big boys.. the 45 acp conversions were also a cool idea never had a chance to use one..so I don't know what they are about...magazines are always an issue.. B2B
