The JM and polymer 80s are completely different from the EP ones.

im actually waiting now to have both the JM's & the poly80's here to do them at the same time & make the compare on fit, finish, QC, ease of work.... their instructions vs what it really takes... blah blah blah...

but i need to finish this PKM first anyway.

the EP blems or non blem's don't need a jig they a jig less, it would appear from the websites that the polymer 80 and JM do require a jig to drill out the FCG area and the Pin holes, these look like they can be used to finish the EP lowers also

again cutting this polymer is cake compared to aluminum, regardless which company you go with

I looked to see if JM offered blems I did not see them ?

I understand the concern with the blems not fitting right, I guess I am used to the term blem or seconds, the old Tannery cast aluminum 80% where blems only he called them seconds, they needed to be played with to work, filed and JB weld in places to work

blem should not be considered cosmetic, another example where the FNFAL 70%-80% receivers that were for sale, almost all of those were blems, seconds, rejects call them what you like. I had to recontour the whole face and make sure the thread went in on the proper angle even if the front was off
Sprat and sprat1 are one and the same.

I'm waiting for my cross-slide drill press vise to come in, also an end mill that i ordered. I did dremel one FCG pocket out and it was fairly straight forward. I give them a 10 on simplicity of completion. Big thumbs up on cost for the blems. I really want to get one done and put several hundred rounds downrange before I recomend them to my cheap assed friends.

Dew, where did you get your cross slide drill press vice? I looked at the HF ones and they seemed rather sloppy and with huge amount of play
