I've heard of the rubber band thing over the years. How does it work? I gotta buy my own ammo so I doubt I'd do it. Been 40years since the army paid for it.

Short answer. The rubber band pulls forward on the trigger and makes it very easy to bump fire, helps find that sweet spot easier.
OK Sprat beat me to it

Yeah I think $500 is a little high, but as mentioned it does look nicely made and I'd say it's worth at least half that.
The main thing I like about what I've seen is you can switch it to a solid semi or make it a sloppy bumper.

I think I can fire semi auto at least as fast. Someone on the boards will figure out how to DIY the thing for 50 bucks in materials and probably improve it at the same time. Then I would be interested. Anyhow, thanks for posting it, sprat. I hope you didn't think we were coming down on you. You just be da messenger.

    yep just the messenger

I was hoping dutigaf would have figured it out, so i could save $ 500 but yes if these guys can do it, one of us could do it, there is article about some doing something similar on the high road, but it involves the disconnector not the same

apparently this unit has a third leg ( no third leg jokes please) I disconnector,I suspect it works on momentum to trip the disconnecto,r so no spring aka atkin accelorator

One more thing for AR owners to draw unwanted attention from antiguners . Sooner or later t he ATF wlll find d a way to ban bump firing devices

Just because its legal does not make it a good idea .

$500 for a trigger is just dumb IMO . yea high end triggers are $300 or so but You dont need one of them either but if you do at leas tit will help you shoot more accurately an hit stuff . For $500 your buying a trigger that allows you to shoot worse .

I think it looks well made an it cool its got a slelecter

If you get one please done post a bunch of dumb ass U tube video acting all tough all it does is hurt gun owners IMO . Buy it an have fun if you can afford the ammo . Sooner or later some dumb ass will use a slife fire or one of these in a shooting an look out .

cool if you can afford the trigger an ammo an Im glad you have the funds for it .

It looks fun I just would not make a big deal about it . Id love to come shoot someones an there ammo with it .

It might be a good way to get your gun confiscated for testing to see if they can make it double like that guys in Milwaukee a few years ago . You can bet it will draw 911 some guys shooting a machine gun call .

I SPEND HOURS TRYING TO KEEP MY LIGHT CUSTOM TRIGGERS FROM DOUBLING AN GUYS WANT TO GET ONE THAT DOES lol

$500 still buys a lot of ammo , even at todays inflated pricing.

i don't see much logic in blowing $500 to WASTE expensive rounds , draw the attention of the anti-gunners and socialist government leaders.

even with the BATF approval they can REVOKE that approval at any time on a whim. they don't need a reason. i suspect the administration is just waiting till a bump fire system of some sort is used in a mass shooting. that may be why the BATF has been approving such devices lately. don't you think it is a little ironic that the BATF approves simulated auto fire devices yet is trying to ban semis and revoke the 2nd?

and that will be their excuse to go after ALL semis "cause their so easy to turn into a full auto assault weapon".

not kicking the messenger here --he just posted a link to the thing.

the AR-15 is the center of obongos anti-gun crusade, so lets not give him another excuse to ban ALL semis --

i can just see some some wack job getting on the national news with this $500 trigger. and ALL semis getting the blame. the media and the leftist are just waiting in the wings for another firearms related disaster to flood the media with obongos/bloomburgs propaganda.

ironically our 2nd rights may get a stab in the back by mall-ninjas wanting to look cool.

remember just because something is legal today don't mean it is a smart or wise thing to do. it is legal to stand in the highway--till you get hit by a truck!
