Tomorrow, Sunnyvale voters have the opportunity to stand up for the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.  You must go to the polls and vote against Measure C.  Violation of any of these laws is punishable by a fine up to $1000, imprisonment in county jail for up to six months, or both.  Measure C is being sold as a “gun safety” ordinance to make the citizens of Sunnyvale feel safer, but Measure C will do nothing to reduce Sunnyvale’s already impressively low violent crime rate.  This should come as no surprise.  This measure’s proponents have admitted that crime prevention is not really their goal.  They want to erode your inherent right to self-defense, limit your access to legal firearms and ammunition, and they want to take this fight to cities all over California.
