Default Help needed for trigger job.

Can I just drop a Tapco G2 single hook FCG into my 7.62 x 39 Saiga?
Or do I need more parts than what comes with the Tapco kit.

Also are there any cheaper solutions (USA made) FCG's?

Last question... can I swap out a regular AK's mag-catch unit and handquard for the Saiga's mag-catch and handguard?

I don't care about 922'r--don't go there please. I got the stuff already (furniture, piston, etc.).

I've already got enough stuff on it to make it compliant.
I made most of it myself.
And FYI no one has ever been cited for 922r--or even harrased to my knowledge.

I'm wondering if a stock AK FCG can be dropped into this?

    Thoughts?!!

K-VAR sells a complete conversion for the saiga rifles to akm style triggers, pistol grips and buttstocks. Last I looked I think it was 90 bucks. I didn't really pay much attention to what all came in the conversion kit . I have a romy and didn't need anything for the saiga. The trigger on my friends saiga is entirely different from mine. Looks like it comes through the hole where my pistol grip attaches and has linkage that leads back to the rest of the FCG.

Steve, I didn't open the case just did a quick "findlaw" search. It's a subscription only service.

There's always an internet idiot saying the government is not interested in prosecuting their laws.

The United States Government wants it's laws followed and does enforce them. Anyone not following the law is a fool.

Yep, and even if his statement was correct, you don't want to be the 1st!

I said I already got the all stuff for 922r compliance (some made by myself)--and this is why I said don't go there.
Everyone is so preachy about this subject, and they ignore the original question.... just like you have.

    Jeeze!

And in a about a year if this economic implosion goes the way I think it will... this 922r thing will not be a concern to anyone, anymore.
