    Default Trigger mod

    Need some advise for my saiga 223 see alot of people nosing there trigger group and moving it forward is this for better balance of the rifle any other bennefits for this

    It seems to make it more balanced to me.
    The other benefit is it takes extra parts out of the FCG, look at the way the stock one is set up and you should see what I mean, and allows you to use any US made FCG.

    Thx for the reply just got my 223 just decoding which way to go with found some info on the cross con conversion on line will post the link Saiga Conversion

    OK I think I misunderstood your first post.
    Are you asking about doing a conversion?
    You can do a basic one which just involves putting a standard stock, pistol grip and FCG.
    When you remove the trigger guard and the plate it's attached to, you'll see the trigger hole and pistol grip hole is already there. You can mod the stock trigger guard to work too if you want.
    Here's a pic of mine when I removed that plate, it's hard to see but you can tell the two holes are there.

    Thx for the reply adding a U.S. FCG will aid in compliance with the 922 BS
