    Default First 308 conversion

Well here is my first Saiga 308 conversion. I used a Strike Force stock set, Uinta mags, self modified Tapco trigger. Next plan is to remove the barrel, and machine it down to thread it 14x1lh thread for a better variety of muzzle devices.

Side folder it is. The conversion on a 308 is very easy. I did have to mod the trigger though.

It shoots great. The control of the gun is so much better. It groups very well at 40 yards, but that is all my eyes will let me see. I have not put a scope on it yet. I got a quick detach mount, wonder how well it will stay set

If it's one that goes on the side rail, they are very stable if the clamp is adjusted properly

It dose mount to the side rail I have a 4x16x50 scope I was going to try on it and see how it groups at 150 yards.
