I think y'all need to do your research into AA.

They're not a company I'd want to have anything to do with.

I like them well enough. Holds 8 more rounds than my pre-ban Armsel Striker (Street Sweeper). They function so what more could you want?

Did Alliance do a "performance tune" on your Saiga for their drum to fit?

If so, do your other magazines fit and function any more?

Over on the S12 boards, there's a lot of threads from AA going like this: "Our drum is perfect, all the Saiga 12s are imperfect. They need our "performance tuning" so our drums will fit and function." with the only problem being that afterwards, the customer's gun could only run the AA drum.

This happened to a great many customers.

Mine worked right out of the box. The drums just managed to fit over the mag catch so I decided not to mess with it or shave down the lip on the drum. So far so good.

Further more, I am quite sure that the AA drums are steel.
I met a poor dude lugging these around at a gunshow. He was trying to
sell the 20 and 30 rounders. I held both of them. It was simply
ludicrous. They were like dumbbells. Aluminum seems like a logical choice,
but I'm saying they were not AL.

Always modify the mag, not the magwell.

I thought they were aluminum, to me it would be pretty stupid to make them out of steel, but if you seen and handled them then you'd know.

AA needs to know this, as Nalioth said; " Over on the S12 boards, there's a lot of threads from AA going like this: "Our drum is perfect, all the Saiga 12s are imperfect. They need our "performance tuning" so our drums will fit and function." ", I've seen plenty of these posts from a couple forums when I was looking at the drums.

I recall there being an issue with the first ones shipped out. That was corrected and people who had the first drums were able to return theirs for replacement IIRC.

We're talking about two companies now and I'm not sure which one your talking about?
