Default Anybody know anything about Pro Mag Industries?

Got a couple .223 magazines marked promagindustries.com which work well in my Saiga but the front of both magazine followers broke off after the first couple rounds. The mags still feed alright, but does anyone know where I can get a couple replacement followers for them?

I'm not sure but my Saiga308 is mag spacific, and the 762X39 was a preban that took regular AK mags. What happened to the followers? Maybe the post ban ones were mag spacific too? Do you know which you have? That's all I got folks, might help.

Get a hold of ProMag and breifly explain it to them, if you tell them you can replace the follower yourself they will ship them to you, I did this a couple years ago for pistol mags (not there's) and they sent me the follower.

I suppose after all this time, I owe it to ProMag to say that they replaced the magazines with new ones. I got the new magazines before I had a chance to send off the old one, IIRC. Haven't shot the new ones much, but at least the followers didn't break on the first go-around.

I had a large number of Mags from them for the Indian SMLE 2A rifles. Every one had an issue. I was so pissed! They replaced them, and still, the same issues.

They got a guy on the phone with me, in 10 minutes, I was able to understand what needed to be done to make them serviceable. This is back a few years....They offered to refund my money. At the end of the day, I had all mags working perfectly with minimal effort.

    Lesson Learned:

Any mags you buy need to be tested in the firearm they are intended for. Adjustments are not unreasonable. My Uncle told me the same thing about BAR mags and Thompson Mags he carried during WWII...New mags needed to be tuned. once done, they could be swapped around pretty easily.
