Last year starting on Dec 17th, AK and other over 10rd mags got real hard to find. I ordered 16 of the thirty rd Tapco mags @ $6.49ea shipped to my door.

I've seen the Korean mags at gun shows quite often and you can tell they are way thinner than the euro commie mags. Anyone have experience with them? Are they reliable? I trust you guys over the mall ninja opinions that come up if I simply Google reviews on them.

I heard mixed opinions of the Korean AK mags. As for the Tapco mags they always worked for me in both AK-47 and AK-74 (Intrafuse) versions. I recall seeing them around the same price or maybe less. Can't recall where exactly but CDNN and Centerfire come to mind. I bought a couple hundred steel Euro mags back when AIM had them for about $8 each. Probably should have bought a lot more because prices went nuts after both the 2008 and 2012 elections. Recently bought a couple dozen Polish Tantal AK-74 mags from Copes and saw that some vendors had steel Euro mags for about $9 and Yugo mags for about $12 each.

Yea I have a handful of the Tapcos and despite some of what I've read they have performed great for me. I'll stick to the tapcos if I find a deal and euro mags.

    Thanks!
