Why are there no cheap krinks being imported with out a barrel? I would love to build one, but I can not pay $800 dollars for a kit.---Carolyn

    Hello Carolyn,
Blame it on Osama or Obama. It has become a supply and demand thing. At one time on the international market the AKSU could be had for $100.oo each.

Today's best low bux bet is to scratch out your own clone version from odds and ends. That takes time, an AK kit, welding, and machinery skills. This is far more involved than assembling a shortie AR. This is really gunsmithing but it can be fun.
