yes, I bought a adapter .I had to drill out the openning, but the projectile still kept hitting the inside if the brake.
    finally i said f*ck it
from personal experience i would not do it again

It will hit, you will have to mod it.

But they do make them, first one is for a 14 x 1mm threaded barrel, and the second one is for the 24 x 1.5mm threaded sight base.

I was hoping to use a Factory 74 545X39 brake on a 30 cal barrel but I do not want to drill the original break out.. so if it's not gonna work as is, I'll have to go to plan B.. B2B

I've done it (well, Fritz did it for me).

Just drill it out to .40 or bigger (bigger is better).

I have used the 74 brakes on 7.62x39 and 54r. Easy enough to open up. Depends on how much you had to pay for them I suppose. I did not open them up too much., maybe to .375" +/- ., or 3/8".

Far left is 24mm opened up for a 7.62 Khyber Pass build ., others are 14mm x1.

Opened one up I bought years ago cheap, used a 3/8 drill bit. Fairly easy as I recall.

It's popular to drill them to 10 mm for 7.62 but I believe the factory 7.62 AK-103 muzzle brakes have a 10.5 mm opening.

Had one on an Norinco years ago and it helped with the accuracy.
