SWEET! Good job Coils. I want mine to look that good. Using a AK74 Polish shell and will use Kwik Hard (Kasenit) on the trigger holes and front rails. Is that a Mpi69 mag in the 2nd pic?

Yes it is, and thank you

Sprat the 22 mag insert needs to be moved down.
Knock out the original rivets, move the insert down and used the original WASR22 mag as a reference for the height, drilled new holes in the insert for the rivets (or bolts). The bottom of the mag insert needs to be trimmed a little, and there's a flat piece of metal for the spring to ride on in the plastic base that needs to be trimmed or you'll lose a few rounds of capacity.
I only modded two and they seem to work ok, not as well as the factory 10 round plastic ones though, but with some more tweeking they might be better.

I got a set of these mags from Numrich before Black Dog made his plastic ones, no one had anything over ten rounds at the time. I also got a set from CTD too at that great price.

I didn't look through a lot of sites, but the cheapest I found is $10 a mag at Numrich, but you have to buy a 4 pack for $40

The only other site that had them is CFS for $15 a mag

Thanks Coils! I found this on the net for discount shipping. Using it my total was $45.50 for the GPC four mag set.

I did find them here for $10 but have never ordered from them. Any input?

That's cool with the Numrich info, thanks for sharing it.

I never got anything from that Ozark company, but I'm sure a google search should bring up some info about them, you know forum threads.

    I'll keep looking
I did try to check on CTD but didn't have any luck finding them, I even searched 22 mag

if memory serves me CTD sold out, then came back with a much higher price at one mag at a time. then seemed to sell out of those, I can't believe the prices on gunbroker for these mags
the CTD mags I got varied in condition one or two were used but like new, while one was rusty, but they came with the original pouch and cleaning kits
Sprat and sprat1 are one and the same.

Looked at CTD and figured they were gone. Being in TX shopping at CTD , SWFA & CDNN tax usually kills the deal. Sounds like yall made out like bandits. Thanks for the heads up.
